Dr. Hermina Szeles is a clinical psychologist licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New York State. She received her doctoral degree in psychology from the Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Szeles completed her clinical internship at the Semmelweis Medical University and received her clinical psychology degree from the Medical Institute of Advanced Studies, both in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Szeles has been a lecturer at the Medical University in Budapest and authored two books and several articles on early childhood education in Japan

Dr. Hermina Szeles has over twenty years of practical experience as a clinical psychologist in Hungary, Japan and the United States. She has been practicing in the Pittsburgh area since 1998. Her repertoire of specialized training includes relaxation techniques, sexual therapy, Adlerian psychology, psychodrama, and psycho-dynamic individual therapy. Dr. Szeles’s approach to therapy is multidimensional: cognitive, behavior, and psycho-dynamic therapy. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, sex therapy, and women's health.
